A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Charlie Vestberg hit a great ball. HQ Rockets's Måns Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Hökkvist in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls United's Ingvar Hökkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Måns Björk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Måns Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Torsten Gustavsson in the 20th minute really tested Josef Qvalfeldt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Josef Qvalfeldt was a little too slow when Patric Olenberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. Pål Finman kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes HQ Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Pål Finman. Ingvar Hökkvist took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Måns Björk. Måns Björk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Sebastian Christoffersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hudiksvalls United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Christoffersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Ingvar Hökkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HQ Rockets's Måns Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Waller in the 41st minute of play. Patric Olenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Qvalfeldt having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Hökkvist made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Ingvar Hökkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Måns Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Hökkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HQ Rockets's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Marcus Waller scored to the left of an out of position Måns Björk, making the score, 3-5. In the 95th match minute, HQ Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Hudiksvalls United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
