The audience was convinced that Erik Asplund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonny Almqvist was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Asplund was the one to do the kick off. Jonny Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Unnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Hökkvist came free, but Viktor Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kaj Ödman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unnaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaj Ödman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Almqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hudiksvalls United had played much better football throughout.
