In the 6th match minute, Rönnäng BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Ånger to maneuver through the defense. Bertil Sundling, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Gunnarsson in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Rönnäng BK's goalkeeper Torsten Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Pihlblad. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Hjelm struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fredrik Säv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnäng BK. The supporters of Rönnäng BK booed when Viggbyholms IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Säv stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Enegren's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Rune Enegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Säv having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasmus Bollström in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Staffan Benett during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Viggbyholms IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Benett to maneuver through the defense. Bertil Sundling hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Viggbyholms IK's Alex Lundqvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alex Lundqvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Viggbyholms IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alex Lundqvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Fredrik Säv, was totally fooled by Rönnäng BK's Joakim Rudkvist, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viggbyholms IK's Rasmus Bollström got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rasmus Bollström fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viggbyholms IK's protests and gave Rasmus Bollström a yellow card for diving instead. The Viggbyholms IK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rönnäng BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Rönnäng BK.
