Kenneth Johansson made a great header on Genarp's corner, it was just that Öxabäck BF's Jan Gadd managed to reach the ball for a save. If Hjalmar Asserlind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genarp's Douglas Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Genarp from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Eddie Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per Bäcklin to make the kick off.
