Joakim Rudkvist started the match with the kick off. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Bank, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Klitor IS's Johan Bank made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Johan Bank had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Holmgren. Rönnäng BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Bank was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Torsten Holmgren came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Klitor IS's Johan Bank. But to his dismay, Johan Bank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Delin in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ulf Hultin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Patrick Delin notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren. Torsten Holmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Delin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Torsten Holmgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klitor IS. Torsten Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

With a little luck, Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren got control of the ball when Johan Bank tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd play minute Folke Lövgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Torsten Holmgren. 0-8. Torsten Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Delin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klitor IS's Recep Tayyip Tekke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Rudkvist in the 61st minute of play. Jörn Alebäck charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Alebäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Rönnäng BK got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Alebäck. Patrick Delin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Holmgren having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Patrick Delin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Klitor IS's Patrick Delin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Klitor IS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rönnäng BK throughout the match.
