The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anderslöv's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Forsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Cosmin Dragoș fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nils-Åke Forsberg, passed just outside the right post. Nedim Baybars made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Näfver in the 18th minute of play. Mårten Bergstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mårten Bergstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mårten Bergstedt hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Nils-Åke Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Bergström in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cosmin Dragoș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils-Åke Forsberg, 1-0. Cosmin Dragoș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nils-Åke Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Åke Forsberg was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Bengt Hjeltman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bengt Hjeltman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 46 minutes, Cosmin Dragoș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hede IK and the Anderslöv players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Cosmin Dragoș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes, Egon Hellqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hede IK and the Anderslöv players grew even worse after the yellow card. 56 minutes into the match, Hede IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Söderström came free, but Nedim Baybars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvald Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Forsberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hede IK's Roland Grajewski got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anderslöv's zone, Cosmin Dragoș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Forsberg came out of the goal and Cosmin Dragoș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Dragoș in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Dragoș in the 80th minute of play forced Anderslöv's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Håkan Haeger fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderslöv's protests and gave Håkan Haeger a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Anderslöv getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Håkan Haeger hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Forsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimír Tutorskiy went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute of the match Marquinhos Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils-Åke Forsberg skillfully saved the ball. Nedim Baybars made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Rickard Näfver sent off a good shot on target. There was no doubt that Hede IK were the better team. Hede IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
