Cosmin Dragoș charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosmin Dragoș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosmin Dragoș hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Hede IK were furious when Alf Siöman was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Rönnäng BK booed when Hede IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvald Bergström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Holmgren having to make a save. After 11 played minutes Rönnäng BK got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Grelsson. Osvald Bergström, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Roland Grajewski fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hede IK's protests and gave Roland Grajewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Roland Grajewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joakim Rudkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedim Baybars took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Hjelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hede IK's Vladimír Tutorskiy got a free kick in the 24th minute. Dennis Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Torsten Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimír Tutorskiy in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Osvald Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hede IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvald Bergström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Grajewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hede IK's Vladimír Tutorskiy suffered a concussion in the 38th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jörn Alebäck charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Alebäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jörn Alebäck hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Torsten Holmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Grajewski in the 40th minute. Roland Grajewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Torsten Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Roland Grajewski made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Grajewski in the 52nd minute of play forced Rönnäng BK's goalkeeper Torsten Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Per-Olof Spetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rönnäng BK and the Hede IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Per-Olof Spetz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Osvald Bergström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvald Bergström took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Holmgren. Torsten Holmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 70th match minute, Hede IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Lustig to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hede IK's Roland Grajewski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Roland Grajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Holmgren having to interfere. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Grajewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jonatan Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Torsten Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedim Baybars didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joakim Rudkvist went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Osvald Bergström took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Holmgren. Torsten Holmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Osvald Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hede IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvald Bergström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Nedim Baybars took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Rudkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
