Ronny Lindell started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Archers of Loafcrosse's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Lindell came free, but Johnny Ahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Ronny Lindell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Ahlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Johnny Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Lindell, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Mossis Pågar IF's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Ottevaere came free, but Tobias Wennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Ronny Lindell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Ahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mossis Pågar IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Billie Ottevaere 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Johnny Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Kullgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Mattias Barck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Archers of Loafcrosse and the Mossis Pågar IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Archers of Loafcrosse's Sverker Berg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Johnny Ahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Lindell in the 37th minute of the match. Johnny Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Lindell in the 39th minute of play. If Ronny Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Archers of Loafcrosse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Barck to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Ronny Lindell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Åke Kullgrens short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Johnny Ahlberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Per-Åke Kullgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Johnny Ahlberg made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Johnny Ahlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Johnny Ahlberg managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Mossis Pågar IF's Ronny Lindell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Mossis Pågar IF's zone, Billie Ottevaere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Wennerberg came out of the goal and Billie Ottevaere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Mossis Pågar IF's Johnny Ahlberg threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronny Lindell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ronny Lindell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Mossis Pågar IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Rang during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jörgen Rang kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Ottevaere in the 80th minute of play forced Mossis Pågar IF's goalkeeper Tobias Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Archers of Loafcrosse's Billie Ottevaere got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Ahlberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Per-Åke Kullgren sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Torsten Ekerot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Archers of Loafcrosse succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mossis Pågar IF had controlled the match.
