Herbert Kihlbergs short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Karl-Åke Palm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hjalmar Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Torbjörn Fagrell's late challenge caught a Crab People FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Fagrell helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Crab People FC booed when Up North FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Joakim Stolpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Edward Åhman made a precise shot to the right of Sune Alstedt. Crab People FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Karl-Åke Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Daniel Zander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Åke Palm, 1-1. In the 23rd minute of the match, Daniel Zander tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Åke Palm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Crab People FC's Sune Alstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Åhman in the 28th minute of play. If Edward Åhman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Kihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Palm having to interfere. The long shot by Gustav Ugla in the 45th minute really tested Karl-Åke Palm's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Kihlberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Herbert Kihlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Up North FC's Karl-Åke Palm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Kihlberg in the 56th minute of play forced Up North FC's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Herbert Kihlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Åke Palm. Up North FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Kihlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Crab People FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Daniel Zander hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Crab People FC's Esbjörn Vallander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Åke Palm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crab People FC reached it. Anton Vedholm's late challenge caught a Crab People FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Vedholm helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Up North FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Vedholm. Philip Askestät sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvald Brodin charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvald Brodin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Crab People FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Osvald Brodin hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Crab People FC's Herbert Kihlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Åke Palm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 85 minutes into the match, Up North FC's Philip Askestät sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sune Alstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Philip Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustav Ugla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Åke Palm. Up North FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karl-Åke Palm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Kihlberg in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Kihlberg in the 96th minute of play forced Up North FC's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Herbert Kihlberg sped through Up North FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Palm. When the referee ended the match the Crab People FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
