The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Strömqvist got free with Håvard Kristiansen in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Vukomir Berzadović put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joachim Jönsätt. A collision led to Trill United getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sten Strömqvist hit a great ball. Sten Strömqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håvard Kristiansen having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, FK BSK's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Modig came free, but Håvard Kristiansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK BSK's Håvard Kristiansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Modig in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Emander in the 20th minute of play forced FK BSK's goalkeeper Håvard Kristiansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FK BSK's Vukomir Berzadović in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trill United's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanjin Kodro in the 23rd minute of play forced Trill United's goalkeeper Joachim Jönsätt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Strömqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Håvard Kristiansen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Håvard Kristiansen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Modig in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Sten Strömqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trill United's Joachim Jönsätt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vukomir Berzadović in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Trill United's goal looked a bit too open when Vukomir Berzadović came free, but Joachim Jönsätt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Jönsätt came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FK BSK's Vukomir Berzadović. But to his dismay, Vukomir Berzadović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vukomir Berzadović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Vukomir Berzadović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Jönsätt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK BSK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henry Alebom in the 56th minute. FK BSK's Henry Alebom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joachim Jönsätt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vukomir Berzadović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Joachim Jönsätt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vukomir Berzadović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Joachim Jönsätt made a huge save. When Sten Strömqvist fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trill United's protests and gave Sten Strömqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Vukomir Berzadović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Jönsätt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Joachim Jönsätt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vukomir Berzadović, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes Trill United got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Emander. In the 84th minute Stefan Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håvard Kristiansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Sergi Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Emander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håvard Kristiansen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Trill United's goalkeeper Joachim Jönsätt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vukomir Berzadović. Trill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK BSK the free kick. Jan-Erik Brandin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over FK BSK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trill United throughout the match.
