Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martial Ducreux kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match Martial Ducreux climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Björn Ståhlberg. Nusnäs IK's Ion Patrichi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martial Ducreux might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Ståhlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martial Ducreux ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Erik Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Furix's Björn Ståhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Furix from getting a goal against them. Björn Ståhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Ducreux in the 29th minute of play. Martial Ducreux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Björn Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agne Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hannes Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Hjälm in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Pettersson to make the kick off. Börje Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ion Patrichi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes of play, Nusnäs IK's Ion Patrichi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Ståhlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Furix's Nils Pettersson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agne Lundin. Agne Lundin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Ducreux in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Ståhlberg saved Furix from getting behind. Martial Ducreux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Björn Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Furix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Säfström to maneuver through the defense. When Martial Ducreux came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Nusnäs IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martial Ducreux couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Furix's zone, Martial Ducreux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Ståhlberg came out of the goal and Martial Ducreux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martial Ducreux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Furix's Claes Sjöberg got a free kick in the 87th minute. Björn Ståhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Ducreux in the 95th minute of play.
