Åshöjden's Victor Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Ekman in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Åshöjden's Alvar Qvalfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bo-Erik Ahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åshöjden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puttesgrabbar the free kick. Jens-Åke Kilman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bo-Erik Ahlquist made a huge save. The wind increased when Alvar Qvalfeldt made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Åshöjden's Alvar Qvalfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But to his dismay, Jens-Åke Kilman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Victor Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Ekman in the 57th minute of play. Ingvar Browall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Victor Glanselius made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Alvar Qvalfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo-Erik Ahlquist was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Puttesgrabbar's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Kilman came free, but Bo-Erik Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bo-Erik Ahlquist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bo-Erik Ahlquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klas Sandström's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Ingvar Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
