Spectators: 7419 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 110) Stig-Åke Söderström made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Taraps IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Kilman came free, but Frank Kvick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Kvick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Kilman in the 5th minute of play forced Taraps IF's goalkeeper Frank Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Jens-Åke Kilman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Kvick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes Taraps IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per-Arne Viklund who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Per-Arne Viklund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taraps IF's Frank Kvick did a great save. Frank Kvick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Kilman in the 16th minute of play. Per-Arne Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Åshöjden fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Åshöjden's Jens-Åke Kilman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Åshöjden's Victor Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Åshöjden from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Björn Fribäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åshöjden's Per-Arne Viklund got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taraps IF's Frank Kvick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Kilman in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Jan Olsson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Kvick. In the 40th minute, Per-Arne Viklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Viklund in the 42nd minute of play forced Taraps IF's goalkeeper Frank Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jens-Åke Kilman could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Frank Kvick however easily saved by the left post. In the 62nd match minute, Taraps IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Per-Arne Viklund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Kvick, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Taraps IF's zone, Jan Olsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Kvick came out of the goal and Jan Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Björn Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Jan Olsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Kvick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Viklund in the 85th minute of play forced Taraps IF's goalkeeper Frank Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Taraps IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jens-Åke Kilman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Åshöjden's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
