The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Browall got free with Henry Hernström in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Leo Wennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo-Erik Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Bocklund hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Alfons Klemensson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.
