Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martial Ducreux started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Dalgren in the 3rd minute of play forced Nusnäs IK's goalkeeper Agne Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Ragnar Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agne Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Agne Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Dalgren in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ragnar Dalgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen U23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nusnäs IK the free kick. Nusnäs IK's Ove Browald was substituted for Manfred Påk. In the 15th match minute, Norrlands Athen U23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. Nusnäs IK's Agne Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Sjögren in the 20th minute of play. Agne Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Dalgren in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Norrlands Athen U23 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jörgen Källberg hit a great ball. Norrlands Athen U23's Viktor Qvarnström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen U23 from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Nusnäs IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Dalgren came free, but Agne Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Norrlands Athen U23 booed when Nusnäs IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Molin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Nusnäs IK got a freekick which was hit by Martial Ducreux. Agne Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Pålsson in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Alan Tombeur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nusnäs IK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. In the 41st match minute, Nusnäs IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martial Ducreux to maneuver through the defense. Agne Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Dalgren in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragnar Dalgren to make the kick off. Agne Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nusnäs IK's Elias Karlstedt got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Agne Lundin made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ragnar Dalgren sent off a good shot on target. Joacim Pålsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agne Lundin came out and tried to block the shot, but Joacim Pålsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 64th minute. When Elias Karlstedt fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nusnäs IK's protests and gave Elias Karlstedt a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Karlstedt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen U23's Olle Giöck got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Nusnäs IK's Agne Lundin got control of the ball when Ragnar Dalgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Ragnar Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Pålsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agne Lundin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ragnar Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Lundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Oskar Sjögren in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen U23's Joacim Pålsson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes in the game, Ragnar Dalgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Agne Lundin having to interfere. Nusnäs IK's Agne Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nusnäs IK from getting a goal against them. Ragnar Dalgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Agne Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Norrlands Athen U23 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nusnäs IK throughout the match.
