Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roger Sjöberg started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Hornmyr IF's Wiktor Strömqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Åke Lidman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wiktor Strömqvist scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Åke Lidman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Åke Lidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Sjöberg in the 13th minute of the match. Alexander Mickelsson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Fågel in the 16th minute of play forced Stugun's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Åke Lidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Strömqvist in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Stugun defense, Jan-Erik Fågel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Lidman. The Stugun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Åke Lidman should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Stugun's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Löfskog came free, but Sven-Åke Lidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Åke Lidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Fågel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stugun's Sven-Åke Lidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Strömqvist in the 26th minute of play. Wiktor Strömqvist took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Åke Lidman. Sven-Åke Lidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 31 minutes into the game, Krister Sjöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sven-Åke Lidman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Sverker Anundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Roger Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Lidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Sjöberg in the 44th minute of play forced Stugun's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Alexander Mickelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orvar Holm to strike the kick off in the second half. Stugun's Sven-Åke Lidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Stugun from getting a goal against them. Sven-Åke Lidman was a little too slow when Roger Sjöberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience was convinced that Krister Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Åke Lidman was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When Aaron Brolin fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornmyr IF's protests and gave Aaron Brolin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hornmyr IF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aaron Brolin hit a great ball. Aaron Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sven-Åke Lidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Åke Lidman came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hornmyr IF's Wiktor Strömqvist. But to his dismay, Wiktor Strömqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 76 minutes into the match, Stugun's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Fågel came free, but Sven-Åke Lidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Åke Lidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Stugun's Sven-Åke Lidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Fågel in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match, Roger Sjöberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Åke Lidman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Stugun's Sven-Åke Lidman got control of the ball when Wiktor Strömqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Fågel in the 84th minute of play forced Stugun's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Stugun's Sven-Åke Lidman got control of the ball when Wiktor Strömqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Alexander Mickelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hornmyr IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
