Sten Muren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swedish Airline Team. Vihren Dandov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Holmgren in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Gösta Lind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City's zone, Joel Nordal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Muren came out of the goal and Joel Nordal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dick Holmgren's late challenge caught a Swedish Airline Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Holmgren helped the player get up and apologised. Sten Muren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Nordal in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Holmgren in the 87th minute of play forced Swedish Airline Team's goalkeeper Vihren Dandov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester City's Sten Muren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Nordal in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Swedish Airline Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
