With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Gråberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christopher Smefeldt was slow to take the kick. During this time BäcknarGänget FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Christopher Smefeldt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stjärtpillarnas IK's Jan Pliszka did a great save. BäcknarGänget FF's Peder Ahlqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The tension between the Stjärtpillarnas IK and the BäcknarGänget FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Peder Ahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BäcknarGänget FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Ahlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Pliszka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertil Tönnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, BäcknarGänget FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BäcknarGänget FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stjärtpillarnas IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
