Eddie Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 12 in the game by Ian Åberg from a close distance when the talented Jonatan Carlberg managed to make a qualified save. Fc north's players were relieved. In the 14th minute Ian Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Carlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonatan Carlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The long shot by Mark Norberg in the 26th minute really tested Jonatan Carlberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Ian Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Carlberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Sven-Erik Svanér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Gallin in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to BARCA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Daniel Jönsson hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes, Fc north's Pontus Öfverman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven-Erik Svanér came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc north reached it. Reine Gallberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Sven-Erik Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Gallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Fc north's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leif Ambjörnsson who took care of the corner kick. Sven-Erik Svanér made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Stellan Gallin sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match Fc north got a corner. BARCA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pontus Öfverman ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the match, Stellan Gallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Erik Svanér. BARCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stellan Gallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Stellan Gallin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Sven-Erik Svanér made a huge save. When Eddie Lundström came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the BARCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Lundström couldn't finish the play. Leif Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mark Norberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Carlberg. Fc north's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When BARCA's Ian Åberg in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc north's goalie prevented a goal. Jonatan Carlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Åberg in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute BARCA were awarded a corner. Leif Ambjörnsson went to the cornerflag to take it. BARCA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leif Ambjörnsson in the 85th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leif Ambjörnsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonatan Carlberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute, Stellan Gallin made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Erik Svanér. BARCA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ian Åberg took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Carlberg. Jonatan Carlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fc north were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant BARCA side.
