After 3 played minutes, BARCA's Leif Ambjörnsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Andreasson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BARCA reached it. Sven-Erik Svanér was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Jens-Erik Hellström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jens-Erik Hellström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Håkan Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Svanér having to interfere. Sven-Erik Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Jens-Erik Hellström fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stjärnhov BK's protests and gave Jens-Erik Hellström a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the match, Håkan Wall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Erik Svanér, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Hellström in the 62nd minute of play forced BARCA's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Svanér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BARCA's Sven-Erik Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Hellström in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stjärnhov BK fully deserved thier win.
