Kaijo Mustkivi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Otto Tinglöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Internazionale booed when Veinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Dahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Internazionale's Kaijo Mustkivi in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veinge IK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Veinge IK's zone, Adam Eisner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Tinglöf came out of the goal and Adam Eisner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Tomas Bäckman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Internazionale's Albert Axelsson. Albert Axelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, FC Internazionale's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Bäckman came free, but Albert Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kaijo Mustkivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Tinglöf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Internazionale. In the 29th minute, Kaijo Mustkivi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaijo Mustkivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tinglöf having to interfere. Dick Dahlbom charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dick Dahlbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Dick Dahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaijo Mustkivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tinglöf having to interfere. Veinge IK's Otto Tinglöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Veinge IK from getting a goal against them. FC Internazionale's Kaijo Mustkivi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adam Eisner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Veinge IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Filiph Bjursell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albert Axelsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Roland Ålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaijo Mustkivi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute of the match FC Internazionale got a corner. Veinge IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arvin Askberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Veinge IK's goalie and right to Kaijo Mustkivi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Veinge IK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 62nd minute, Roland Ålberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albert Axelsson. The goal made the score 0-2. 68 minutes into the game, FC Internazionale's Kenny Hermansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otto Tinglöf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kaijo Mustkivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tinglöf having to interfere. Dick Dahlbom was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Veinge IK's Dick Dahlbom got a free kick in the 81st minute. Kaijo Mustkivi might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otto Tinglöf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaijo Mustkivi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Kaijo Mustkivi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adam Eisner came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Internazionale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Eisner couldn't finish the play.
