In the 2nd minute, Dick Dahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Veinge IK's zone, Stellan Gallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Tinglöf came out of the goal and Stellan Gallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Axel Grubb fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc north's protests and gave Axel Grubb a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Grubb hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Roland Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Holmgren's late challenge caught a Veinge IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Holmgren helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Carlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Bjursell, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Veinge IK's goalkeeper Otto Tinglöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stellan Gallin. If Björn Lindsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stellan Gallin made a kick off. Stellan Gallin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Tinglöf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Jonatan Carlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Ålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Fc north's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Ålberg came free, but Jonatan Carlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Carlberg made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Filiph Bjursell sent off a good shot on target. Axel Grubb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otto Tinglöf having to make a save. Jonatan Carlberg came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Veinge IK's Filiph Bjursell. But to his dismay, Filiph Bjursell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roland Ålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Joachim Arhenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc north's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Arhenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Veinge IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
