In the 47th minute, Thomas Dalström made a precise shot to the right of Alf Gråberg. BäcknarGänget FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ove Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alf Gråberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peder Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Gråberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Dalström, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Peder Ahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BäcknarGänget FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Ahlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Lang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Peder Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Nye RK's Arvin Lang got control of the ball when Bertil Tönnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arvin Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Ahlqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Dalström in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Gråberg saved BäcknarGänget FF from getting behind. BäcknarGänget FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
