Seed's Roland Wester suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 11 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Hök was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seed the free kick. Seed's Nils Josefsson was substituted for Roland Wester. Bengt-Åke Hök hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ingmar Vallander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Sven-Erik Svanér made a huge save. Pelle Kvarnström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sven-Erik Svanér made a huge save. If Evert Odin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Stabbe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. When Leif Ambjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the BARCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Ambjörnsson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Seed's Gunnar Kjellberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Nils Josefsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven-Erik Svanér, passed just outside the right post. 37 minutes into the match, Nils Josefsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of BARCA's Sven-Erik Svanér. Sven-Erik Svanér was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Evert Odin in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BARCA's Reine Gallberg. After 40 played minutes BARCA got a freekick which was hit by Reine Gallberg. BARCA's Sven-Erik Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Odin in the 41st minute of play. If Ingmar Vallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Egon Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sven-Erik Svanér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Nils Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seed and the BARCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Seed got a freekick which was hit by Nils Josefsson. 66 minutes into the game, Seed's Nils Josefsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Erik Svanér made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience was convinced that Ingmar Vallander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Erik Svanér was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Sven-Erik Svanér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Josefsson went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sven-Erik Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Höijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Höijer in the 89th minute of play forced BARCA's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Svanér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, BARCA's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Kvarnström came free, but Sven-Erik Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Egon Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Alegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egon Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sven-Erik Svanér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seed walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
