They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Tomelilla's Sebastian Biörk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximilian Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Jernberg got free with Torbjörn Abelsson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbjörn Abelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zin el Din Zidān in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tomelilla's Torbjörn Abelsson got control of the ball when Malte Emander tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Zin el Din Zidān quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Torbjörn Abelsson was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Americo Txartiko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Americo Txartiko really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. After some careless play in the Tomelilla defense, Zin el Din Zidān kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torbjörn Abelsson. The Tomelilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torbjörn Abelsson should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Dick Ekegren took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Torbjörn Abelsson to make any attempt to save it.
