Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Erik Hård in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Caspersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Håkan Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Forsman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Söderman made a huge save. Övids Änglar FC's Karl-Johan Söderman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Övids Änglar FC from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Josef Vennerlund rounded Övids Änglar FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Håkan Albäck hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Karl-Johan Söderman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Övids Änglar FC's Karl-Johan Söderman got control of the ball when Gilbert Forsman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klagstorp's Ove Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Erik Hård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jens-Erik Hård's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Caspersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Gilbert Forsman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Johan Söderman. Övids Änglar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Forsman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jens-Erik Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Caspersson having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Uno Boman put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Klagstorp booed when Övids Änglar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Boman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Bergman in the 73rd minute of play forced Övids Änglar FC's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klas Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Caspersson having to interfere. Karl-Johan Söderman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josef Vennerlund went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Klagstorp's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
