Rickard Sandström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Erik Hård in the 22nd minute. If Klas Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Vennersten made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Övids Änglar FC's Håkan Albäck. After recieving a nice pass, Övids Änglar FC's Uno Boman tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, ★★ Aspenäs F.C ★★'s Rickard Sandström got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Hård tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Klas Kruse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rickard Sandström, 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Håkan Albäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Erik Hård was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Håkan Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Övids Änglar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ★★ Aspenäs F.C ★★ were furious when Anton Stenman was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ★★ Aspenäs F.C ★★! After a rather tough play, ★★ Aspenäs F.C ★★'s Kjell-Arne Vennersten got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Jens-Erik Hård got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Erik Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Jens-Erik Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Erik Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Sandström having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Hård had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Sandström. ★★ Aspenäs F.C ★★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Erik Hård was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 89 minutes into the match, ★★ Aspenäs F.C ★★'s goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Hård came free, but Rickard Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klas Kruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Hård in the 97th minute of play. When Håkan Albäck came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Övids Änglar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Albäck couldn't finish the play.
