When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ove Bergman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alfred Viklund to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Klagstorp's Gilbert Forsman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfred Viklund. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Alfred Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergman in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Klagstorp getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Christer Bagge hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilgot Falk during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Klagstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Falk to maneuver through the defense. Klagstorp's Christer Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Nordlund in the 19th minute of play. Alfred Viklund made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gilbert Forsman sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Josef Vennerlund put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Viklund. Gilbert Forsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alfred Viklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Klagstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Nordlund came free, but Christer Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Bergman to make the kick off. Gilbert Forsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Viklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Klagstorp's Christer Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Tingelholm in the 55th minute of play. When Ragnar Dusett fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörlunda's protests and gave Ragnar Dusett a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mörlunda's Ragnar Dusett got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Ove Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergman in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Klagstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Haraldsson to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Mörlunda's Freddie Tingelholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christer Caspersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Ove Bergman notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Mörlunda's Alfred Viklund. Alfred Viklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Bergman in the 83rd minute of play forced Mörlunda's goalkeeper Alfred Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Klagstorp's Ove Bergman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfred Viklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 90th minute Ronny Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Forsman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Viklund was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Klagstorp had played much better football throughout.
