Karl-Johan Söderman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvard Samuelsson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Kjell Hjortsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Djurgårdens IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Djurgårdens IF's Jimmie Moberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Kruse in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Övids Änglar FC booed when Djurgårdens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Johan Söderman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvard Samuelsson was the one to do the kick off. Edvard Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klas Kruse hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Klas Kruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 79th match minute, Övids Änglar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Hård to maneuver through the defense. Djurgårdens IF's Thomas Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Övids Änglar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Blomqvist came free, but Karl-Johan Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Hjortsberg. Edvard Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Karl-Johan Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Övids Änglar FC's George Henriksson got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Djurgårdens IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
