An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Sefastsson in the 26th minute of play forced Fredriksdal BF's goalkeeper Stellan Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Morgan Bogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fredriksdal BF and the Sveg IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sveg IFK booed when Fredriksdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Bogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Sefastsson to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Fredriksdal BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Frick to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Fredriksdal BF's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lindgren came free, but Stellan Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Sefastsson in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stellan Gallin saved Fredriksdal BF from getting behind.
