Hans Gruber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Fogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th match minute, Överlida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. Hans Gruber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Fogel's shot from short distance in the 100th minute. The Överlida fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Södertälje were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
