A sloppy throw-in by Sven Örnberg in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stockholm BK's Bengt-Arne Gabrielsson. 17 minutes into the match, Stockholm BK's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Arenberg came free, but Malcolm Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Sven Ahlström made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stockholm BK's Malcolm Rudkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29thth minute of the game Sven Ahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockholm BK's Malcolm Rudkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Arenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes IFK Trelleborg got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Biörling. Billy Arenberg's late challenge caught a Stockholm BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Rudkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven Ahlström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. Billy Arenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. IFK Trelleborg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
