Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) 5 minutes into the match, IFK Trelleborg's goalkeeper Ascencio Cueli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Hylander. In the 9thth minute of the game Sven Ahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svaneholm's Sven-Erik Björk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IFK Trelleborg's Ascencio Cueli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Trelleborg from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Isac Bure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Billy Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Svaneholm's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Arenberg came free, but Sven-Erik Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match William Kjellbom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Björk skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Svaneholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Levander to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Svaneholm defense, Billy Arenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Erik Björk. The Svaneholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Erik Björk should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Sävström in the 40th minute of play forced Svaneholm's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Ahlström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Erik Björk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Frans Levander kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Billy Arenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Trelleborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svaneholm the free kick. A collision led to IFK Trelleborg getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Billy Arenberg hit a great ball. The Svaneholm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Trelleborg were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Anundsson to make the kick off. Billy Arenbergs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Sven-Erik Björk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sven-Erik Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ahlström in the 59th minute of the match. Sven-Erik Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svaneholm were furious when Gert Löfdahl was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Svaneholm getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gert Löfdahl hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Svaneholm's zone, Billy Arenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Erik Björk came out of the goal and Billy Arenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. IFK Trelleborg's Billy Arenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Erik Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Ahlström in the 70th minute of play. Sven-Erik Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ahlström in the 73rd minute of the match. Agne Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ascencio Cueli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Billy Arenberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sven-Erik Björk to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, Sven Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Hylander kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86th play minutes Billy Arenberg shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Sven-Erik Björk and just under the crossbar into goal. Sven-Erik Björk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billy Arenberg went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The IFK Trelleborg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
