The supporters of Ekebäck BK booed when IFK Trelleborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Wikander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ahlström in the 18th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gert Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gert Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Biörling in the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ragnar Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Trelleborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragnar Sävström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gert Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ekebäck BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Trelleborg were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Ahlström was the one to do the kick off. IFK Trelleborg's Ascencio Cueli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bremming in the 59th minute of play.
