Spectators: 7583 (Terracing: 5688, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) Sunne's Henry Kellbom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Billy Arenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Nässén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Billy Arenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Nässén was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Billy Arenberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Charles Nässén skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 2-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Sven Ahlström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Anton Lindell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Billy Arenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Nässén was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Alf Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Cueli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, IFK Trelleborg's Billy Arenberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles Nässén. Charles Nässén yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Isac Bure put in a rough tackle. Isac Bure kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alf Axelsson's late challenge caught a IFK Trelleborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Alf Axelsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Sven Ahlström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Charles Nässén came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven Ahlström slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 35th minute. Sven Ahlström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Nässén having to make a save. Sven Ahlström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Charles Nässén came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven Ahlström slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 38th minute. Alf Axelsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Alvin Örtendal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ascencio Cueli. IFK Trelleborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvin Örtendal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Ahlström was the one to do the kick off. Sven Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Nässén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Arenberg in the 59th minute of the match. Alf Axelsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ascencio Cueli could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Sunne's zone, Sven Ahlström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Nässén came out of the goal and Sven Ahlström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Ahlström in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Nässén saved Sunne from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Gunnar Biörling put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Charles Nässén. Sven Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Nässén having to interfere. Ascencio Cueli came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sunne's Anton Lindell. But to his dismay, Anton Lindell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-3. If Sven Ahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, IFK Trelleborg's Gunnar Biörling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Nässén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven Ahlström scored 8-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Nässén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Sven Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Nässén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alf Axelsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ascencio Cueli. That made the score 8-4 in the 87 minute of play. Charles Nässén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Ahlström's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Sunne booed when IFK Trelleborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Arenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK Trelleborg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sunne for a fine match.
