The goal made the score 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Fiskarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Lange came free, but Rickard Överman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSC Bari's Hans Bruse quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulf Kinell, made in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Tosh Goodwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Bari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Marcus Lundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiskarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Bari the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fiskarnas BK's Marcus Lundström got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Hammarbäck in the 30th minute of play forced SSC Bari's goalkeeper Vincent Blakeley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosh Goodwin in the 31st minute of play forced Fiskarnas BK's goalkeeper Rickard Överman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSC Bari's Hans Bruse quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulf Kinell, made in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Sverker Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Överman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiskarnas BK's Rickard Överman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Lange in the 36th minute of play. Marcus Lundström was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sverker Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Överman having to interfere. In the 45th minute Tosh Goodwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Överman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Överman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47th play minutes Tosh Goodwin shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Rickard Överman and just under the crossbar into goal.

Rickard Överman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Lange, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Fiskarnas BK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Sven-Åke Nyberg hit a great ball. Sverker Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Överman was a little too slow when Tosh Goodwin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-5. Tosh Goodwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rickard Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sverker Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Överman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tosh Goodwin in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Nils-Erik Klintæus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiskarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Bari the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fiskarnas BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Rickard Överman came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by SSC Bari's Hans Bruse. But to his dismay, Hans Bruse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Fiskarnas BK's zone, Tosh Goodwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Överman came out of the goal and Tosh Goodwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vincent Blakeley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rickard Överman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SSC Bari booed when Fiskarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Jespersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sven-Åke Nyberg came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fiskarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Åke Nyberg couldn't finish the play.
