In the 28th minute, Magnus Vester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Håkan Hökqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dan Skoog. Dan Skoog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kürşat Hürsoy in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes IFK NORRKÖPING got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Vester. Jaroslaw Radzyminski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Ali Kürşat Hürsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Grimmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Kürşat Hürsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karol Wojtyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dan Skoog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, IFK NORRKÖPING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Petersson to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The IFK NORRKÖPING fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Skoog should have stopped the shot. If Karol Wojtyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Dan Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Hürsoy in the 87th minute of play. Max Petersson got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 88 played minutes IFK NORRKÖPING got a freekick which was hit by Max Petersson. A collision led to IFK NORRKÖPING getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Andréas Botvidsson hit a great ball. Ali Kürşat Hürsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BK Grimmy fully deserved thier win.
