In the 34th minute Mats Björkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vingåker FF's Axel Ferm got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Axel Ferm off the ground. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Sonny Ekrot made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gullholmen's Carl Åman got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Vingåker FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Bammerman to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Håkan Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Morat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Ekrot went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Sonny Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Gullholmen failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
