Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kjell-Arne Samuelsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Påk. André Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Ahlström having to interfere. Jens-Erik Gullesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Max Ahlström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's Max Ahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Beckström in the 10th minute of play. If Kjell-Arne Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Beckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Ahlström having to interfere. When Jens-Erik Gullesson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Vargön fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Erik Gullesson couldn't finish the play. Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's Max Ahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Beckström in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Erik Gullesson in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Ahlström saved Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar from getting behind. Max Ahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Beckström in the 31st minute of the match. Max Ahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Beckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sören Beckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jens-Erik Gullesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargön's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Erik Gullesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Ahlström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jens-Erik Gullesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Beckström came free, but Max Ahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sören Beckström to make the kick off. Jens-Erik Gullesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Ahlström having to interfere. Sören Beckström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's zone, Jens-Erik Gullesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Ahlström came out of the goal and Jens-Erik Gullesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Max Ahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Beckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Sören Beckström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Ahlström having to make a save. Max Ahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Beckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Beckström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Max Ahlström came out and tried to block the shot, but Sören Beckström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's Max Ahlström got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Gullesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vargön's Sören Beckström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sören Beckström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Jens-Erik Gullesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 95 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Gullesson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's Max Ahlström. Max Ahlström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
