Spectators: 7583 (Terracing: 5688, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sören Beckström started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes, Delmar Senen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsterbro and the Vargön players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Vargön's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Senen came free, but Joakim Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Vargön's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Wiklund came free, but Joakim Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joakim Stenkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Torsten Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vargön's Joakim Stenkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Senen in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jens-Erik Gullesson made a precise shot to the right of Fritz Åström. Alsterbro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fritz Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Beckström in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Alsterbro got a freekick which was hit by Clive Fordham. In the 33rd minute, Sören Beckström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Alsterbro's goalkeeper Fritz Åström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Erik Gullesson. After a defensive mix-up in Vargön's zone, Torsten Wiklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Stenkvist came out of the goal and Torsten Wiklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Senen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joakim Stenkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vargön's Sören Beckström fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Delmar Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Stenkvist having to interfere. Delmar Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Joakim Stenkvist made a huge save. If Delmar Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, André Alfors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vargön and the Alsterbro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Vargön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Alfors to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Senen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Torsten Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Stenkvist having to interfere. When Peter Andreasson fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vargön's protests and gave Peter Andreasson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alsterbro booed when Vargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Stenkvist made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Delmar Senen sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vargön could leave the field as winners, despite Alsterbro having more of the ball for most of the match.
