With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ove Åkerman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 78 minutes, Peder Drake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peder Drake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Moskosel getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Frank Kinnman hit a great ball. Simon Kolberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Moskosel's zone, Philip Lång stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Åkerman came out of the goal and Philip Lång tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Loverpool's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
