After 47 played minutes Alsterbro got a freekick which was hit by Göran Björkkvist. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell-Arne Samuelsson to make the kick off. If Torsten Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alsterbro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clive Fordham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Max Ahlström came out of the goal and Torsten Wiklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Torsten Wiklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max Ahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Senen in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Delmar Senen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Max Ahlström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torsten Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Max Ahlström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Senen came free, but Max Ahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Ahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Senen in the 91st minute of the match. Alsterbro's Torsten Wiklund got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Göran Björkkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alsterbro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kunta Kinte´s lärjungar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
