After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Filip Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dag Bohlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Robin Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Mikael Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. stenkullen goik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Ahlstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Lindqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Lindqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin Engström came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by The Lions's Dag Bohlin. But to his dismay, Dag Bohlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dag Bohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Engström having to interfere. Dag Bohlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Bohlin ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Bohlin in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kåre Mossberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Folke Falkrantz however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Ahlstedt in the 40th minute of play forced The Lions's goalkeeper Folke Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lions's Folke Falkrantz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save The Lions from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
