Sten Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Qvalfeldt in the 5th minute of the match. Rune Öfverman made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Tor Bröms sent off a good shot on target. Calle Vibjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Öfverman having to interfere. Holger Duset's late challenge caught a Assyriska BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Duset helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fagerhult's Holger Duset got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Assyriska BK's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Sundström came free, but Sten Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Oliver Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Assyriska BK's Sten Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Sundström in the 27th minute of play. Sten Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Sundström in the 28th minute of the match. Sten Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Calle Sundström made a precise shot to the right of Sten Ström. Assyriska BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Sundström in the 34th minute of play forced Assyriska BK's goalkeeper Sten Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Fagerhult got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Allbom. If Tor Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Sten Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Qvalfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Oliver Qvalfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagerhult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Qvalfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Oliver Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Calle Sundström made the kick off in the second half. When Fagerhult's Calle Sundström in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Assyriska BK's zone, Calle Sundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Ström came out of the goal and Calle Sundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Assyriska BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Grubb. 57 minutes into the match, Calle Sundström sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Sten Ström threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Calle Sundström this time. Sten Ström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Yngve Holmberg. Bertil Allbom kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Calle Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Tor Bröms left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Assyriska BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tor Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assyriska BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Öfverman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Fagerhult's Calle Sundström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sten Ström. Sten Ström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Calle Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Ström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Sundström in the 95th minute of play forced Assyriska BK's goalkeeper Sten Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fagerhult's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
