In the 6th minute, Jago Buerga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venturas Aces's Måns Asklund got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a little luck, FC Kurdtuna's Jack Frisck got control of the ball when Elias Dalgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Måns Asklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venturas Aces's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurdtuna the free kick. A collision led to Venturas Aces getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Måns Asklund hit a great ball. Jago Buerga might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Carlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jago Buerga ran back to his position shaking his head. Erling Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Börje Carlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Jago Buerga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 39th minute of the match Måns Asklund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Måns Asklund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Enegren to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venturas Aces's Stig Larsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Stig Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börje Carlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Enegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Stig Rosin came free in the 57th minute and tried to tip the ball over Börje Carlberg, but to the joy of Venturas Aces's supporters the ball went over. After a rather tough play, Venturas Aces's Elias Dalgren got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Börje Carlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Rosin in the 71st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Erling Enegren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 77 minutes into the match, Venturas Aces's goalkeeper Börje Carlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Rosin. In the 80th minute, Kåre Spetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd play minute Erling Enegren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Börje Carlberg. 0-1. In the 88th minute, Stig Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Kurdtuna's Stig Rosin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Kurdtuna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
