In the 15th minute, George Berg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Söderström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Manfred Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Berg in the 20th minute of play. Mats Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Bivall in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Berg in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Söderström saved Eneryda from getting behind. Eneryda's Manfred Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Berg in the 26th minute of play. Manfred Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Benet in the 37th minute of play. Manfred Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. George Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Söderström having to interfere. With a little luck, Malmö Fotbollförening's Mats Smefeldt got control of the ball when Erik Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Knut Bivall to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Erik Blomkvist notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Malmö Fotbollförening's Mats Smefeldt. Mats Smefeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the game, Knut Bivall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mats Smefeldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Eneryda getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. David Wennerquist hit a great ball. Mats Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Blomkvist in the 63rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, George Berg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manfred Söderström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If George Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, George Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manfred Söderström made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when George Berg sent off a good shot on target. The Eneryda support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
