After 56 played minutes Månstad IK got a freekick which was hit by Lars Gustafsson. 58 minutes into the match, Malmö Fotbollförening's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Gustafsson came free, but Mats Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidar Salqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Berg in the 77th minute. Mats Smefeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Stensson in the 78th minute of the match. The long shot by George Berg in the 82nd minute really tested Vidar Salqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Månstad IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Berg was slow to take the kick. During this time Malmö Fotbollförening's players had a chance to rest. Mats Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Stensson in the 85th minute of play. Mats Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Örtendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Edmund Stensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Malmö Fotbollförening's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Valler came free, but Mats Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves George Berg could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Vidar Salqvist however easily saved by the left post. Månstad IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
