In the 7thth minute of the game Kurt Häger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RocknRoll's Mark Isaksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alex Hagström came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Vrigstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Hagström couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, RocknRoll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Ove Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. Arne Molin made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Karl-Ove Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th play minute Karl-Ove Isaksson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arne Molin. 1-0. A collision led to RocknRoll getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Karl-Ove Isaksson hit a great ball. After 19 minutes, Jan Engström made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. RocknRoll's Mark Isaksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, RocknRoll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RocknRoll booed when Vrigstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Häger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mark Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Häger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Vrigstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Granström to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in RocknRoll fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vrigstad BF a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niklas Lövgren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of RocknRoll's Mark Isaksson. 1-2. Vrigstad BF's Jan Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Engström in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Isaksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arne Molin made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Karl-Ove Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Ove Isaksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arne Molin could save by the left post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jan Engström made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Vrigstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Granström to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Jan Engström made a precise shot to the right of Mark Isaksson. RocknRoll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Jan Engström had several of the RocknRoll's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Mark Isaksson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jan Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Molin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kurt Häger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mark Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RocknRoll booed when Vrigstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vrigstad BF's Jan-Erik Rang was substituted for Jan Engström. A collision led to Vrigstad BF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Christer Granström hit a great ball. Karl-Ove Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arne Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Max Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RocknRoll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Ros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Roy Ekeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Vrigstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Isaksson came free, but Arne Molin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Jan-Erik Rang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kurt Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vrigstad BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Häger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Rang in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vrigstad BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
