After 7 minutes, Marc Fredriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gnosjöasd and the Swestars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marc Fredriksson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gnosjöasd! The referee gave Swestars a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ingvar Ekman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gnosjöasd's Leo Eliasson. 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Jonny Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Leo Eliasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt Mickelsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Olof Lundin scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Eliasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonny Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Leo Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Jonny Eriksson took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Leo Eliasson to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute of the match David Beckman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Colin skillfully saved the ball. Ivar Colin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Tobias Ström notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Swestars's Ivar Colin. Ivar Colin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sören Mossberg's late challenge caught a Gnosjöasd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sören Mossberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Swestars got a freekick which was hit by Sören Mossberg. Swestars's Ivar Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Ström in the 40th minute of play. Leo Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Lundin in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Ström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Ingvar Ekman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swestars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Ekman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gnosjöasd's Tobias Ström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Colin. That made the score 4-2 after 57 minutes of play. Allan Högberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ivar Colin made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Swestars's zone, Marcus Nordmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Colin came out of the goal and Marcus Nordmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ivar Colin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Lundin in the 66th minute of play. Ivar Colin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Ström went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonny Eriksson in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Eliasson saved Gnosjöasd from getting behind. Gnosjöasd's Leo Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Hylander in the 79th minute of play. Leo Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Swestars's Jonny Eriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Eliasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. 89 minutes into the match, Olof Lundin notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Gnosjöasd's Leo Eliasson. Leo Eliasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivar Colin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ström in the 92nd minute of play. Leo Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Ekman in the 93rd minute of play. Leo Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Jonny Eriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Eliasson. Gnosjöasd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonny Eriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Swestars fully deserved thier win.
