Lervik IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Carlshamn the free kick. A collision led to Lervik IF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pelle Törnqvist hit a great ball. Erik Britz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Beckman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Häll in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattias Bröms to make the kick off. Tobias Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Pelle Törnqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lervik IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Törnqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henric Ahlkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Bröms went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Bröms couldn't finish the play.
